About Lindley
Hi there, I'm Lindley. Writer, marketer, mom, and proud New Mexican.
After six years living abroad in Denmark, Australia, and New Zealand, we moved back to the U.S. in late 2023. Now we're planting roots in Albuquerque, relearning what home feels like one hike, coffee shop, and slow Saturday at a time.
I started this blog years ago to document our adventures overseas. Back then, my husband Rasmus was playing professional basketball, and we were moving countries every few seasons. Life was beautifully unpredictable. I worked remotely in marketing, earned my master's degree online through Penn State, and soaked up every chance to explore.
Life looks different now, and I wouldn't trade it. I'm the third-generation Chief of Marketing and General Manager at Z-CoiL Footwear, our family business, where I get to help carry something my grandfather started into its next chapter. I even had the surreal experience of pitching Z-CoiL on Shark Tank in Season 17, Episode 1, easily one of the most nerve-wracking and rewarding moments of my career. These days I'm also a working mom, Rasmus is our daughter's stay-at-home dad, and we're both leaning into this big, beautiful season of change.
This space is still about curiosity, culture, and storytelling, but now it also holds room for motherhood, identity shifts, entrepreneurship, and the messy magic of returning home. I'm passionate about honest writing, finding your people, and living with purpose.
If you're navigating a big transition, whether it's a move, a new role, or just figuring out what's next, I hope you'll find something here that resonates. Thanks for being here.
